I've so many great memories of Stan. He and Doreen babysat me before they were married and he always took time for me...even though I was probably an over talkative nuisance. I remember Stan taking me for rides in his great open top Sunbeam Talbot that had running boards. A very cool guy in a super cool car. Years later we would kick a ball in Addington Park and then he got me onto the New Addington football club team and very few people would get past him. The man new how to kick a ball and pass it with precision. I really loved Stan and I spoke with him during his recent stay in hospital remembering old times and cracking some jokes. I will miss him.
